Since when
Earlier this year, I built a YouTube summarizer to help me kick the doomscrolling habit. When I saw the X3, I had to give it a shot because I wanted to see if I could get my YouTube digests on a “dumb” device. I actually just finished a fork of CrossPoint and it’s such a cool/novel use of the X3
How I use it
Generally in the morning for updated/shortform content, I have yet to read a novel but am looking forward to downloading a few
What I love
The size and battery life. As a developer, honestly what I appreciate most is the huge open source community.
What I'd change
If I could just get a backlight on the X3 it would be perfect
Tip for new members
I would get a glass screen protector right out of the gate. It comes with a plastic one, with the glass it looks and feels so much nicer.
