Book Transfer – Official Methods

Method 1: SD Card (Official, Most Reliable)

  1. Remove microSD from X4
  2. Insert into computer
  3. Copy DRM-free EPUB/TXT to root or folder
  4. Safely eject, reinsert in X4
  5. Files appear in Files app

Method 2: WiFi (Official)

  1. Connect X4 to WiFi
  2. Settings → File Transfer
  3. Browser: http://[IP-address]
  4. Drag & drop files

WiFi finicky? Use SD card method.

Reading Experience

Screen: 220 PPI – comfortable for reading. Sharper than phone, less sharp than premium Kindle/Kobo. Paper-like feel.

Text formatting issues? Stock firmware limitation. CrossPoint firmware (community) fixes bold/italics.

Images? Not supported (covers, embedded images). CrossPoint working on this.

Font sizes? Stock: limited. CrossPoint: 4 sizes. Custom fonts via conversion.
